Amazon got FAA approval for drone deliveries. This allows the tech giant to start testing. Drones may allow it to reduce shipping times to minutes or hours instead of days. [KYR News]

E8 announced equity investments in three startups. Its Decarbon8-US philanthropic fund will support companies dealing in electric vehicle adoption, carbon capture and hydrogen fuel infrastructure. Xeal, Earthly Labs and Steelhead Composites were all chosen from 38 applicants. [PRNewswire]
