4 year(s) of experience in progressive roles focused on information technology applications and its overall impact on business strategies and productivity.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Understanding of Object Orientated Programming principles and GoF design patterns;
  • Utilizing established development tools, guidelines, and conventions to create software solutions using technologies e.g.(C#, .Net Core, SQL Server, Mongo, Angular, React, Node, HTML, CSS);
  • Understanding of popular software concepts and SOLID principles (e.g., dependency inversion, Open/Closed principle, etc.);
  • Using Relational and Document (No SQL) databases;
  • Working with Application Integrations using REST APIs;
  • Understanding design and architecture of SPA applications and frontend frameworks;
  • Understanding of Containers & Orchestration including Docker, Swarm and Kubernetes;
  • Understanding microservice architecture and distributed processing patterns;
  • Having experience in developing and designing scalable PaaS and IaaS solutions in Azure infrastructure;
  • Having an understanding of Azure Databricks and ADF;
  • Having experience in designing and developing scalable and high-performance enterprise software solutions;
  • Thinking analytically with the ability to identify, debug, and resolve technical issues;
  • Understanding concurrency and demonstrating the ability to optimize the performance in a multithreaded application;
  • Demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment to stay on-time and within-budget project completion;
  • Possessing proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
  • Utilizing Microsoft Application Life Cycle Management using Microsoft Azure DevOps;
  • Utilizing Microsoft DevOps experience working in highly structured branched environment merging code from one branch to another;
  • Understanding of the software development life-cycle;
  • Working in an Agile process, planning work daily, resolving development blockers, and escalating issues appropriately;
  • Helping teams scope development work items and managing time and quality targets within a sprint;
  • Running scrum meetings, retrospective meetings, prioritizing and assigning work items and monitoring the progress;
  • Reviewing designs and code deliverables to establish adherence to development standards;
  • Providing feedback/coaching to developers on areas for improvement;
  • Working with 3rd party tools/frameworks e.g.(DevExpress, AGGrid, Tall components, Postman);
  • Providing leadership across a team comprised of staff and vendor resources; and,
  • Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients.
