How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Strategic Reporting Analyst at Boomi, you will play an integral role within our IT Data Management team, focusing on delivering measurable and impactful insights that drive our strategic initiatives forward. You will bring your deep understanding of the data journey, your ability to tell compelling stories and your extreme focus on being the defacto data SME to a team that both supports and empowers our internal customers. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, IT Data Management, you will take ownership of your deliverables, partner and collaborate with the broader team and produce results that make our internal customers more successful and ensure Boomi’s continued growth.

What You’ll Do 

  • Build, deliver and maintain a Centralized Reporting Portal to house reporting, visualizations, documentation and training.
  • Mentor, train and advise both internal data management team members and internal data analysts that reside within each business unit.
  • Work directly with senior stakeholders to understand problems and recommend solutions.
  • Create executive dashboards, reports, KPI’s, and visualizations that track strategic initiatives.
  • Help establish reporting and data standards and strategies that align to C-Level plans.
  • Be the de facto Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Reporting within IT and establish a Reporting Center of Excellence.
  • Independently design, deliver and automate IT and core business primitives reporting.
  • Leverage all layers of the data stack to create analytics that drive value and ROI.
  • Oversee data quality and governance practices, processes and policies.
  • Manage Process Improvement activities that impact data accuracy and adoption.

The Experience You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Program Management or similar discipline - Master’s Preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as, but not limited to, SQL, Python and R.
  • 8+ years’ experience managing end-to-end Reporting and Analytics, preferably in High Growth SaaS Organizations.
  • Working knowledge of the full Microsoft Reporting Stack including SQL (Snowflake)
  • Experience and knowledge of visualization tools, like PowerBI(preferred), Qlik, Tableau.
  • Experience and knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practice used in data warehousing and analytics solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset with a track record of driving outcomes that impact cross functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with AI (+Training) and/or ML methodologies.
  • Understanding of industry trends and best practices within the Data and Reporting world.

Compensation and Benefits 

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our corporate headquarters in Conshohocken, PA ranges from $118,174 - $177,262. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
