The salary range for this position is $117,113 - $152,720.

We are looking for a Staff Recruiter. As a Staff Recruiter, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the world’s best quantum computers to solve the world’s most complex problems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead effort to identify, engage, attract and hire top talent for a rapid-growth Quantum Computing company.
- Manage the strategic and tactical talent acquisition process from requisition origination through candidate acceptance, including:
- Job Creation – You will help craft job descriptions that will appeal to potential job candidates.
- Talent Sourcing - You use your growing relationships with talent pools and your understanding of talent markets to qualify, identify, secure and/or develop talent pools to address immediate and near-term talent needs. You develop a pipeline that generates the candidates needed to meet the future talent needs of the business.
- Candidate Attraction - You get active and potential candidates excited about and interested in a career at IonQ by telling stories that convey our unique career possibilities, advantages, and rewards that are distinct from those of our competitors.
- Candidate Assessment & Screening - You interact with our candidates, bringing them through the interview and closing processes and provide support to meet their needs (e.g., onboarding, relocation, Visas, critical dependencies). You assess candidates and you will own candidate relationships all the way to the point of an in-person interview, and will be tightly integrated into the feedback process during the interview process.
- Candidate Experience - You make sure candidates are engaged in and satisfied throughout the recruitment process, helping them prepare for each phase.
- Work closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders as a trusted advisor throughout the recruiting process and promote effective and efficient hiring practices using consultative skills to influence all levels of internal stakeholders.
- Continually evaluate and apply new sourcing methodologies to actively identify, cultivate, and grow target candidate pools of top talent.
- Enhance the talent acquisition team’s ability to rapidly target, identify, source, and present the most talented candidates for current and future requirements.
- Take ownership of the role as company ambassador.
- Develop and implement recruitment marketing plan which integrates and highlights company's premium/differentiating benefits and characteristics.
- Accurate knowledge, clear written and verbal communication are a must for advising and influencing Sr. leadership. Ability to articulate with a high level of business acumen; able to influence and respond across complex arguments and engage with senior level executives in a polished and professional manner.

- 8 plus years full life cycle in house recruiting for a Engineering driven company
- Proven ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment. Resilience under pressure. Able to do polite push back when required. Ready to collaborate and bring ideas to the attention of the whole team. Confidence when working autonomously.
- Exceptional research, consulting, technical and non-technical sourcing, and assessing skills.
- Self-assured, not easily thrown, able to think on your feet.
- Inquisitive; with a strong desire to learn and a strong team player.

Location:
This position is located in our newest facility in Bothell, WA.
Our HQ is located in College Park, Maryland and we are a 15 minute metro ride from Washington DC. We are actively building out our recently opened manufacturing and production facility in the Seattle, Washington area. Depending on the position, you may be required to be located in Washington DC, Seattle, Washington or the Toronto, Canada area. However, IonQ will be expanding into additional geographies both domestically and internationally so don’t let this stop you from applying.

The base pay component of the offer will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Posted figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available. The total compensation package may include other elements dependent on the position and level. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment.
